Bear Hug Cattle Company is a 501c3 non-profit based out of Manhattan, MT that provides vocational training to Veterans pursuing a career in the ranching industry. The goal at Bear Hug Cattle Company is to provide Veterans with the opportunity and skills necessary to get involved in the ranching community. This program is free of cost to Veterans who are accepted into the program - all donations go directly to sponsoring participants. Veterans go through a 10 week course where they spend 4 weeks learning industry fundamentals. After that, they will spend 6 weeks getting on the job training at some of the most iconic ranches in the west. At the end of the 10 weeks, we help veterans find the right jobs within the industry.
